Berkshire Hathaway is an American-based multinational conglomerate holding company that is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was formerly known by Valley Falls Company (1839–1929) and Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates (1839–1955). The firm was founded in 1839 by Oliver Chace in Valley Falls, Rhode Island. and runs globally. The company completely owns Duracell, GEICO, BNSF, Dairy Queen, Fruit of the Loom, Lubrizol Helzberg Diamonds, Long & Foster, FlightSafety International, Pampered Chef, Forest River, and NetJets. The company also owns 38.6% of Pilot Flying J apart from the significant minority holdings in some of the public companies such as The Coca-Cola Company , American Express, Bank of America, Apple and Kraft Heinz Company. Considering the leadership, Warren Buffet aged 90 years announced in early May 2021 that the current lead of Berkshire’s non-insurance businesses, Greg Abel would succeed him as CEO. However, there is no timeline. The next in the line stands Ajit Jain, who is the current head of the insurance businesses.
