Released in 1996, Indian is a political thriller directed by S. Shankar. The film is led by Kamal Haasan in dual roles of which one is an honorary character. The film is all about an ex-freedom fighter who turned out to be a punisher. He aimed to eradicate corruption in India. He finds his path obstructed as his son is a part of corruption. The movie is worth watching to know if he punishes his own son or spares him.

2. Nayak: The Real Hero (2001)

Nayak is one of the Bollywood movies directed by S. Shankar. It stars the great Anil Kapoor in the lead role. The 2001 film is the remake of the director’s Tamil movie “Mudhalvan”. The story revolves around a reporter who took up the challenge of the Chief Minister and placed himself in the position of CM for a day. The Prakash Jha-directed movie features a group cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Rao, Manoj Bajpayee, and others. The film features a father’s dilemma to receive the awarded compensation following the death of his son. Eventually, he opts for Satyagraha for himself and for his district. 7. An Insignificant Man (2016)

An Insignificant Man” is a 2016 movie directed by Vinay Shukla and Khushboo Ranka. The movie is completely based on the rise of anti-corruption protests in India as well as the formation and rise to power of the Aam Aadmi Party. The party was an independent political faction gaining traction through the campaigns against corruption in Indian politics. 

Political leader Arvind Kejriwal headed the party and captured the daily functioning of the political party. It is one of the Bollywood movies that has been renamed. Earlier, the film was titled “Proposition for a Revolution” during its initial stages. However, to establish a connection with the audience, the makers have changed the title.
