The United Arab Emirates has further extended the ban on UAE travelers from India, now for the third time in a row. Flights carrying passengers from India have been kept on hold by the UAE government until June 30, with respect to the ongoing COVID-19 situation prevailing in India. Restrictions On UAE Travellers From India

Before, the country had imposed UAE travel restrictions till June 14, but then seeing the condition of India in the battle of Covid-19 disease they decided to extend it. The ban was initiated on April 25 after India started to see a rise in its coronavirus cases. 

According to the UAE authorities,

"Furthermore, passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE."

Along with that, it has also been added that people with UAE citizenship, members of diplomatic missions, and UAE Golden Visas holders will be excluded from this rule. However, they should follow the latest UAE entry requirements COVID that has been mentioned by the country. And to answer the question, Today, Can I travel from Dubai to India now? No. Travel between UAE and India is suspended for the timing except for special cases that have been mentioned before. 

UAE is now allowing a few selected categories of passengers to enter Dubai. Such passengers who are selected must have a negative PCR antigen test. According to a statement published by the UAE government,

“These include the members of diplomatic missions, holders of UAE golden visa, UAE nationals, passengers exempted and/or granted permission to enter the UAE by the appropriate authorities as well as passengers traveling on a business flight who have a valid COVID-19 PCR test certificate, according to the Emirates airlines' website.”

This ban is not only applicable to UAE travelers from India but also to those who have been to Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka in the 14 days before their travel to the UAE. Dubai To Abu Dhabi Travel Restrictions

There are strict restrictions for traveling to Abu Dhabi by road. Those who have an intention to enter Abu Dhabi must have a negative COVID‑19 PCR test result provided within 48 hours or a negative DPI test result within 24 hours. The day of arrival into Abu Dhabi will be counted as day 1.
