Microsoft ISRO Collaboration About To Fuel Indian Space-Tech Startups’ Growth

Microsoft and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Microsoft ISRO Collaboration. They have planned to fuel the growth of space-tech startups in India. The MoU aims to empower space tech startups pan India with technology, platforms, and tools in addition to go-to-market support and mentoring. This is to scale them and make them enterprise-ready.

The Microsoft ISRO Collaboration aims to strengthen the vision of ISRO in regard to harnessing the market potential of the most promising space tech innovators as well as entrepreneurs in India. Microsoft for Startups will onboard ISRO’s space-tech startups onto Founders Hub, which supports startups from idea to unicorn at every stage of their journey.

Through Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, Indian space tech startups will have access to free tech tools and resources necessary to build and run their companies. Aside from scaling and building on Azure, you’ll also have access to Microsoft 365, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 smart analytics, as well as best-in-class developer and productivity tools. Reaching beyond technology access, Microsoft will furnish space tech entrepreneurs with monitoring support in areas ranging from cloud technologies to space engineering, fundraising, product design, sales, and marketing. Founders will also have access to Microsoft Learn to gain access to tailored startup-centric training content and business programs that will help them build connections with customers and industry professionals.

Through the Microsoft ISRO Collaboration, the two organizations will also co-organize knowledge-sharing and thought leadership sessions for startups with space industry experts. Founders will also receive go-to-market strategies, technical support, and marketplace opportunities via the collaboration.
